A Quest for Freedom around the Globe
I have substantially travelled since 2002, when I did my first backpacking trip in Thailand.
At the time, I was travelling in a very different way compared to what I now do. Yet, this journey clearly got me addicted to the concept of exploring the world and the understanding that there exists something much beyond the idea of travelling at the geographically level.
Indeed, travelling not only relates to going to beautiful places and meeting new people, cultures and languages, but also to the concept of delving into deeper layers of consciousness and re-encountering our true essence through the process.
In a societal model that constantly generates separation, I have attempted at putting all the pieces of the giant cosmic Puzzle together in order to attune to my own balance so that I would thrive in both my human and spiritual experience. And in the end, everything is always all about the people we manifest along the way.
Until July 2012, I had been working as a government school teacher in France (Physical Education and English) and as a University of Cambridge English teacher in Amsterdam.
After having worked for more than 10 years in established institutions, such as a professional basketball coach, general educator, Physical Education teacher, English teacher or even as an astronomy teacher in the French educational system, I made the spontaneous decision to quit my conventional life and hit the road for an overland journey around the world without money. It would last for an indefinite amount of time, with the firm intention to participate as little as I could in the current monetary and societal model.
I closed my bank account and started my trip with 400 Euros just for the visas and border crossings on the way. I had neither any proper plans nor real expectations of where the cosmic winds would take me. I just knew that I would head towards the East overland around the globe, permanently adapting and re-adjusting things and shifting cycles on my way, It would depend on the quantum possibilities I would run into, and how both my heart and the Universe would guide me on my path.
I knew that I would have to generate some money at some point, and yet, I was not very worried about that when I left, for I have long understood that the Way would be revealed to me if I learnt to observe the Signs and to See the flow of the Universe. Because overall, it is also my journey towards more understanding regarding the World and the Universe, therefore regarding myself, as the spiritual aspect of the journey has long overtaken the geographical one.
